It may seem really simple but it is amazing what a difference a thank you email makes when you are happy with a service. In our busy lives it is all too easy to take services for granted when they work and instead concentrate all communication when they aren’t. There is a running joke in our company that it is a good thing if you haven’t spoken to a customer in ages because that means there haven’t been any issues.However it makes such a difference to receive a thank you as it helps to confirm you are on the right path and doing the right thing.
So my advice is that if someone has helped your businesses or provided a service as they should have, take five minutes to drop them a quick email to say so. You will be surprised what level of support and goodwill you can generate!
